The Star Calendar of Merchants and Sailors

The calendar is used by nearly every nation as a means of regulating trade. Also, the calendar dates legitimize contracts and treaties.

Each month is named after the star that appears in a particular spot in the sky on the first of each month. There are 18 months of 20 days, each month containing 4 weeks of 5 days.

 The current year is 229 AGS. (After the Great Schism)
